Commercial photography is defined as shooting images with the intent to promote products or services. The great thing about commercial photography is its wide variety. There are so many types of commercial photography that anyone can find their niche. Some types include:
Fashion photography
This genre consists of shooting for magazine spreads, clothing on runways, lookbooks, and showrooms

Product photography
This genre consists of shooting and promoting products from skincare, to aircraft, to cookware, to kitchen tables. This is probably the largest type as companies are always looking for someone to shoot and promote their product.
Food photography
This genre is very common and self-explanatory, it involves photographing food and making it look desirable.

Architectural photography
This genre consists of photographing structures and buildings. This also includes tunnels, bridges, and any other type of construction.
Interior photography
This genre focuses on capturing interior design to sell to interior designers or real estate agents. This type of photography also links to real estate photography.
These are just some of the umbrella types of photography. Each of these sections has its own subcategories. Broadly, Commercial photography is any form of photography that is being used to sell a product or service. As it was previously stated, one thing I love about commercial photography is that there is something for everyone.
